This Privacy Policy explains how Poultry Intel Manager ("the application", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information when you use the application.

By using Poultry Intel Manager, you acknowledge that your information may be processed as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the application, we may collect and store the following information.

Account Information

We may collect:

Full name
Email address
Phone number, if provided
User account identifier (Firebase UID)
Authentication and account information associated with your use of the application

We use Firebase Authentication to create and manage user accounts and authenticate users.

Farm Information

Depending on the information you provide, we may collect:

Farm name
Farm role
Farm location
Farm capacity or production scale
Bird types managed, including Broilers, Layers, Dual-Purpose Chickens, Turkeys, Ducks, and Quail
Farm settings and configuration information
Farm membership information
Roles and permissions assigned to farm members

Farm Records

To provide farm management, cloud synchronization, and collaboration features, we may store information that you create or enter into the application, including:

Flock records
Feed inventory and feed records
Egg production records
Sales records
Health records
Expense records
Weight records
Mortality records
Production records
Farm reports
Feed programs
Vaccination schedules
Treatment records
Farm financial information
Other farm management information

When cloud synchronization is enabled, farm records may be stored in our cloud services and synchronized between supported devices and authorized members of the farm.

Farm Invitations and Team Information

If you invite another person to join your farm, we may collect and process information necessary to create and manage the invitation, including:

Invitee's email address
Inviting user's account identifier
Farm identifier
Invitation status
Invitation date and time
Assigned or requested role
Permissions associated with the invitation

When an invited person accepts an invitation and joins a farm, their account may become associated with that farm.

Subscription and Trial Information

Poultry Intel Manager may offer paid subscriptions, free trials, and subscription-based features.

Depending on how you use these features, we may process information such as:

Subscription product or plan
Trial status
Subscription status
Entitlement status
Purchase identifier
Subscription start date
Subscription expiration date
Renewal or cancellation status
Purchase and subscription-related timestamps
Application user identifier associated with the subscription

Subscriptions may be purchased through Google Play and managed through RevenueCat.

Payment-card information is processed by the applicable payment provider. We do not directly collect or store your full credit card or debit card information through Poultry Intel Manager.

Support Information

When you contact us through the application, we may collect:

Feedback messages
Bug reports
Date and time submitted
Status of the feedback or bug report
User account identifier (UID)
Other information you voluntarily provide in your support request

Technical Information

We may collect technical information necessary for the proper operation, security, and maintenance of the application, including where applicable:

Device model
Operating system and version
Application version
Technical diagnostics
Error or crash information
Information necessary to maintain application security and reliability

We do not intentionally collect more technical information than reasonably necessary for the operation and improvement of the application.

Store and synchronize farm records
Provide cloud storage and synchronization
Allow authorized users to access shared farm information
Facilitate farm invitations

Manage farm members, roles, and permissions

Monitor farm production, health, feed, expenses, sales, and other records
Provide subscription and trial features

3. Cloud Synchronization and Farm Collaboration

Poultry Intel Manager provides cloud synchronization and collaboration features that allow farm data to be stored in the cloud and accessed by authorized members of a farm.

When cloud synchronization is enabled:

Farm data may be transmitted from your device to our cloud services.
Farm data may be synchronized between supported devices.
Authorized members of the same farm may access shared farm information according to their assigned roles and permissions.
Farm owners or authorized users may invite members to a farm.
Farm owners or authorized users with appropriate permissions may manage or remove members.
Access to farm information depends on the roles and permissions assigned to each member.

If you join a farm belonging to another user, you may have access to information belonging to that farm according to the permissions granted to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that you only join farms and access farm information for which you have been authorized.

4. Roles and Permissions

Poultry Intel Manager allows farm owners and authorized users to assign roles and permissions to farm members.

Depending on the permissions assigned, a member may be able to:

View farm information
Add farm records
Edit farm records
Manage certain farm information
Manage other farm members
Perform other actions made available by their assigned permissions

Not every member has permission to perform every action.

In particular, farm deletion is restricted to users who have the required permission.

Permissions are used to control access to farm functionality and are not intended to replace the need for users to protect their account credentials and devices.

5. Local and Cloud Farm Data

Poultry Intel Manager may maintain a local copy of farm information on a user's device and a synchronized copy in the cloud.

These copies may not always be identical at every moment, particularly when a device is offline or unable to communicate with the cloud.

A local copy of farm data may remain on a device even when the corresponding cloud farm has subsequently been deleted.

If a farm is permanently deleted from the cloud by a user with the required permission:

The cloud version of the farm is permanently deleted.
The deleted cloud farm can no longer be accessed through the application's cloud synchronization system.
Devices that receive the deletion may remove their local synchronized copy of the farm.
A device that still has a local copy may retain that local data until the local copy is removed or otherwise cleared by the application or user.
A retained local copy cannot be synchronized with the deleted cloud farm.
Users cannot use a retained local copy to restore the deleted farm to the cloud or upload new changes to that deleted farm.

This means that deleting a farm from the cloud permanently ends that farm's cloud synchronization, even if a local copy remains on a device.

6. Farm Invitations and Email

Poultry Intel Manager allows authorized users to invite other people to join a farm using their email address.

We use email service providers to send invitation and other transactional emails.

When you send a farm invitation, the invitee's email address and information necessary to process and deliver the invitation may be transmitted to our email service provider.

Invitation information may include:

Invitee email address
Farm name or farm-related information necessary for the invitation
Invitation sender information
Invitation status
Invitation date and time
Information necessary to accept or manage the invitation

An invitation recipient does not become a member of the farm merely because an invitation is sent. Membership occurs when the invitation is accepted through the applicable application process.

7. Data Storage and Security

Your information may be stored:

Locally on your device using application storage technologies, including Hive or other technologies used by the application.
On Google Firebase cloud services for authentication, cloud storage, synchronization, and related application functionality.
By third-party services used to provide subscriptions, email delivery, or other application functionality.

We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

Data transmitted between the application and supported cloud services is encrypted in transit.

However, no method of electronic storage, transmission, or security can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Third-Party Services

Poultry Intel Manager uses third-party services that may process information as necessary to provide application functionality.

Google Firebase

We use Google Firebase services, which may include:

Firebase Authentication
Firebase Cloud Firestore
Other Firebase services required by the application

Firebase may process information necessary to provide account authentication, cloud storage, synchronization, security, and application functionality.

Google Play

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed through Google Play.

Google Play processes payment and purchase information according to Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.

We do not directly collect or store your full credit card, debit card, or other payment-card details through Poultry Intel Manager.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to help manage subscriptions, free trials, purchases, and subscription entitlements.

Depending on our configuration and your use of the application, RevenueCat may process information such as:

Application user identifier
Device or technical information
Purchase information
Purchase identifier
Subscription product
Subscription status
Trial status
Entitlement status
Purchase, renewal, and expiration information

RevenueCat's documentation states that its services can process end-user technical and transaction information, and may also process an application-specific user identifier when the developer provides one.

RevenueCat processes such information to provide subscription-management and entitlement services to us.

Resend

We use Resend to send transactional emails, including farm invitations and other emails necessary for application functionality.

Information necessary to send and deliver an email may be processed by Resend, including:

Recipient email address
Sender information
Email subject
Email content
Delivery information
Date and time associated with email delivery
Technical information associated with email delivery

Resend's privacy policy describes its processing of personal information, including email addresses and usage/technical information, in connection with its services.

Other Service Providers

We may use additional third-party service providers when reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, or improve specific application functionality.

Where applicable, such providers may process information only to the extent necessary to provide their services to us.

9. Subscription, Trial, and Billing Information

Poultry Intel Manager may provide free trials and paid subscription plans.

Subscription prices, trial periods, renewal terms, and other applicable conditions may be displayed in the application or through Google Play at the time of purchase.

Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are subject to the applicable Google Play billing and subscription terms.

RevenueCat may be used to determine whether your account has an active subscription or entitlement.

If a subscription or trial expires or is cancelled, access to subscription-only features may change according to the applicable subscription plan.

Cancelling or allowing a subscription to expire does not automatically delete your account or farm data.

Subscription and billing information may be retained as necessary to manage subscriptions, provide support, maintain records, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the application and its features, maintain security, provide customer support, manage subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Permanent Farm Deletion

Only a user with the required farm deletion permission can permanently delete a farm.

When an authorized user permanently deletes a farm from the cloud:

The farm is deleted from the cloud.
Cloud farm records associated with that farm are permanently deleted.
The deleted farm can no longer be synchronized with authorized devices.
Devices that receive the deletion may remove their local copy of the farm.
Other devices may retain a local copy temporarily or until the local data is removed.
A retained local copy cannot synchronize with, restore, or upload changes to the deleted cloud farm.
The deleted cloud farm cannot be recovered through the application.

Deleted cloud farm information may include:

Farm profile
Flock records
Feed inventory and feed records
Production records
Egg production records
Sales records
Health records
Weight records
Mortality records
Expense records
Reports
Feed programs
Vaccination schedules
Treatment records
Farm membership information
Roles and permissions
Other farm management information associated with the deleted farm

Permanent farm deletion is irreversible. Once the cloud farm has been permanently deleted, it cannot be restored through the application.

Deleting a Local Copy

A farm member who does not have permission to delete the farm may be able to delete their local copy of the farm from their device.

Deleting a local copy:

Does not delete the cloud farm.
Does not delete the farm for other members.
Does not delete other members' local copies.
Does not remove the farm from the cloud.
May remove locally stored farm information from that particular device.

If the farm still exists in the cloud, the user may be able to access or synchronize the farm again according to their membership and permissions.

Local Data After Cloud Farm Deletion

If a farm is deleted from the cloud while another user's device still contains a local copy, that local copy may remain on that device.

However, the local copy is no longer connected to an active cloud farm.

The user cannot use that local copy to:

Restore the deleted farm
Upload the local farm back to the cloud
Synchronize changes to the deleted farm
Recreate the deleted cloud farm through synchronization

The user may delete the remaining local copy from their device using the available application functionality.

Removing a Farm Member

A farm owner or authorized user with the appropriate permission may remove a member from a farm.

Removing a member:

Removes that person's access to the farm according to the application's access-control system.
Does not delete the farm.
Does not automatically delete the farm's cloud records.
Does not necessarily delete historical records created by that member.

The treatment of local data on the removed member's device may depend on whether the device is online, the application's synchronization state, and the applicable local data handling process.

Account Deletion

Deleting your user account is separate from deleting a farm.

If you are a member of a farm owned by another user, deleting your account does not delete the farm or its cloud data. The farm may remain available to its owner and other authorized members.

If you own a farm, or your account has the required permission to delete the farm, deleting your account may also result in the permanent deletion of the farm and its associated cloud data. Where account deletion will cause a farm to be permanently deleted, the application will provide an appropriate warning before the deletion is completed.

Permanent deletion of the farm is irreversible. Once the farm has been deleted from the cloud, it cannot be restored through the application, and any remaining local copies on other devices can no longer synchronize with or upload data to the deleted farm.

Support and Bug Reports

Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for:

Customer support
Troubleshooting
Product improvement
Security
Fraud prevention
Maintaining application quality
Legal compliance

This may include:

Feedback submissions
Bug reports
Submission date and time
Status of submitted reports
User account identifier

You may contact us to request deletion of retained support information, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

Backups and Technical Copies

Although we take reasonable steps to delete information when a permanent deletion operation is performed, limited copies of information may temporarily remain in technical backups, logs, or disaster-recovery systems where necessary for security, system reliability, or legal compliance.

Such information is subject to applicable retention and deletion procedures and is not intended to remain available for normal application use.

11. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Your information may be shared with or processed by trusted service providers when necessary to provide application functionality, including:

Google Firebase for authentication and cloud services
Google Play for subscription and purchase processing
RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management
Resend for transactional email delivery
Other service providers necessary to provide specific application functionality

We may also disclose information when required by applicable law, legal process, court order, or governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, application, or property.

Sharing Within a Farm

When you use team collaboration features, farm information may be accessible to other authorized members of the same farm.

The information and actions available to a member depend on the role and permissions assigned to that member.

You are responsible for ensuring that you only invite people whom you authorize to access your farm information.

12. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have the right to:

Access your personal information
Update your personal information
Delete your account
Delete farm data where you have the required permission
Delete your local copy of farm data
Request deletion of retained support information
Manage farm members and permissions where you have the required administrative privileges
Contact us regarding your personal information

You can use the applicable functionality within the application to manage your account, farm, membership, and data.

Because permanent cloud farm deletion is irreversible, you should carefully review the information before confirming a permanent deletion.

13. Children's Privacy

Poultry Intel Manager is intended for users aged 13 years and above.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child under the applicable minimum age without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.

If applicable law in your jurisdiction establishes a higher minimum age for processing personal information without parental consent, that requirement will apply.

14. International Data Processing

Depending on the services used by the application and their infrastructure, your information may be processed or stored in countries other than your country of residence.

Third-party service providers, including Google Firebase, RevenueCat, and Resend, may process information using infrastructure located in different countries and jurisdictions.

Such processing is subject to the applicable terms, privacy policies, and data protection requirements of the relevant service providers.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:

New application features
Changes to third-party services
